I'm originally from Palm Springs, California (yes, people are actually from there). I landed in STL City in 2002 and fell in love with the city. I was born into the world of real estate; my mother a Realtor, step father an architect, father & step mother mortgage brokers. So as for my choice of career in real estate... I never really had a chance! I was answering calls for my mom before I could even see a PG-13 movie. I didn’t go quietly into my predestined career. I attended college for art & psychology (which actually comes in handy), joined the circus for a bit (not even kidding) & even created a start-up baking/event company called Sift & Aperture. Once my free spirit was thoroughly entertained I settled into the real estate life (where I belong apparently) & am extremely happy to be doing something I'm not only good at, but something I truly love.
I also love plants, pups, being by the water, and foraging for fungi. I am recovering stray-magnet, and have fostered a wide-range of dogs from a variety of circumstances. I've worked with Saint Louis Senior Dog Project, Needy Paws, 4-Paws and beyond to help find animals their forever homes.
In the past I very much enjoyed (and miss) volunteering as a middle school volleyball coach. I'm also a proud momma of a super-sweet, highly articulate, bilingual (English & Mandarin) teen. They’re definitely my “why.”
As a member of the lgbtqia+ community and a trauma survivor I feel passionately about equality, equity, inclusion, and mental health. For me being visible & open about both are important. I am committed to making my business and my home a safe space for people (beyond my ethical requirement as a Realtor) no matter how they identify.
My experience as a neurodivergent person allows me to operate with empathy and create accommodations to enhance the real estate process for my clients. I place a high value on direct communication and boundaries. I truly believe that my neurodivergent mind helps me carefully decipher client needs, prepare / set their expectations in effective ways, and creatively avoid common real estate conundrums.
