Don't call the number on the sign. Don't do it. I'm Stephanie, and I've been in real estate for about 20 years. You’re searching for a home, and you drive by a really cute house. You may be tempted to call the phone number on the sign to get more information or to see the house, but you should not do that. Here's why… Your home search should start with interviewing Realtors. You want to have representation in place before you're walking in and out of home.
A lot of people don't know this. When you call a Realtor and they take you into a house, if you don't already have an agreement signed with an experienced Realtor that you really like, you could be stuck with that random Realtor (who may already be representing the seller). Being left without an option is no bueno for so many reasons.
